An order of protection (protection order) is a temporary order intended to help provide safety and protection to victims of certain crimes.

For advice about, and in certain cases representation for, filing protection orders, please contact Student Legal Services at The Ohio State University (SLS).  SLS is a non-profit law office that contracts with Ohio State to provide legal services to eligible Ohio State students.
