Sexual Misconduct Policy

The Sexual Misconduct policy applies to Ohio State faculty, staff, students, student employees, graduate associates, appointees, volunteers, vendors, and visitors.

The policy defines sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, and related terms. It also addresses:

  • medium, location, jurisdiction;
  • Title IX coordinator;
  • prohibited romantic and/or sexual relationships;
  • employee duty to act;
  • confidentiality;
  • retaliation;
  • investigation and resolution options;
  • remedies;
  • false allegations; and
  • use of sexual misconduct allegations in employment or academic actions.
